BLF & CINI – Project Resilience

The Bose Legacy Foundation through its partnership with the Child in Need Institute is providing scholarships to teenage girls from vulnerable communities in India to
enable them to complete their higher secondary education. 

CINI has a long and distinguished record of work and material assistance to such vulnerable communities aimed at improving the health and well-being of women and children. In doing so, CINI has sought to maximise the impact of their interventions in the particular areas of health, nutrition, education and child protection. 

A primary focus has been the education of the girl child. School drop-out rates, cases of early marriage and various forms of abuse and exploitation are very high among girls in poor communities, both in urban and rural areas. CINI prioritises education for girls with the aim to empower them and to help them realise their aspirations.
